Frugal Teacher Gifts / Stocking Stuffers

I made some sachets today as small "Thinking about you gifts".  I had the materials on hand, but the dollar store will have everything you need.

Good quality envelopes (small size)
Ribbon
Filler ( I used garden grown lavender, but you can grind cedar chips or cloves or cinnamon sticks or whatever you'd like, not ground fine)
A needle
A hand drawn pattern (I used a butterfly)
Stickers (optional)

Work on a hard surface such as the back of an old book or magazine.  Place the pattern template on the front of the envelope and poke holes with the needle around the perimeter.  The holes may go through to the back side of the envelope.  This is OK. Fill the envelope with 3 T of your filler and seal.  Place sticker on the back of the envelope.  Make 3 or 4 sachets and tie together in a bundle with the ribbon.

These only take a few minutes to make.  I did mine while watching Little House.  Great teacher gifts that anyone can use.
