Price Chopper, CNY and Northern Pennsylvania 02/20-02/26
Following are the 1/2 price items I see as being frugal and beneficial. I see the multiple 1/2 price items PC is offering this week, and I'm not so confident they are all a good deal. As an example, Lipton Ice Tea 12 pack contains a total of 16 oz - 16.9 oz. That's 2 cups of tea for 4.00 (2/8.00) Making the tea at home in 5 minutes would cost the price of one 1-2 tea bags, hot water, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. If sale prices were used, the cost would be approximately:
Sugar, .18 (7 C in 4lb bag)
Tea, .01 - .02
lemon, .19 (16 oz bottle)
Total, .38-.39, A savings of 3.62
Bonus Coupons

3 lb bag empire apples, 2.00
1 lb or 2 lb bag bay scallops
Select General Mils cereal, 4/8.00
