In our area (CNY) Price Chopper has a few good deals. The best deal is there are 3 triple store coupons, up to and including 1.00, in Sunday's flyer. (10/31)
Progresso soups are 4/5.00 (sale)
Triple coupon - 3.00
Final cost = 4/2.00 or .50 each.
As far as I could tell all of the regular soups were in this deal, including wedding soup.
I used the other 2 1.00 coupons I had on Celestal teas.
2 1.00 coupons (6.00 tripled)
2 teas 6.58
Final cost = .58
Total: 2.58
Pork chops are 1.00/lb
and whole chickens are .79/lb
There is also a coupon for cereal 4/8.00. Adding a 1.00 triple coupon to this would lower the cost to 4/5.00 or 1.25 each
